House of Seiko is pleased to present a multigenerational exhibition at NADA Miami 2025, featuring seven artists whose works trace a living conversation between the postwar and the contemporary. At the core of the gallery’s program is the belief that historical and contemporary practices exist not in contrast but in exchange. Our display takes inspiration from poet Jack Spicer’s notion of the artist as a “lightning rod” — a conduit for transmissions from elsewhere. In this spirit, each artist in the presentation can be seen as a vessel for image and experience, allowing form, color, and light to move through them rather than originate solely from will or intention. The result is a presentation that feels charged with continuity — a cross-generational dialogue about perception, process, and the quiet persistence of imagination. Across these seven artists, painting emerges as a connective medium — one capable of carrying sensibility, vision, and memory.
